The Boastful Host offers a full suite of party planning elements to make your party shine. As party planners and consultants, we put a unique spin on the traditional party planning service. We're here to help you plan for life’s special moments when you find you just don’t have the bandwidth to do it all yourself.
We always start by getting to know your vision first, to help develop a personalized concept. We then get to work planning all of the details - from venue and catering selection (if needed), to to handcrafted and personally procured decorations, providing entertainment options and activities, and creating timelines so it all runs smoothly the day of the party.
While most of our customers choose our full service Concept to Creation, know that we also offer a DIY Decor Only Package, where you will still always be provided everything needed to facilitate your party preparations and maximize your time, energy, and budget. Come the day of your successful party, the bragging rights will be all yours, making you The Boastful Host!

Adrienne Kalinauskas
Adrienne lives to entertain! A small intimate dinner or a birthday celebration for a crowd, she loves to work through the details, planning the menu, crafting the cocktails, and creating an environment that will make her guests feel relaxed and ready to party. After graduating from Monmouth University in 2001, she spent the next 14 years in advertising and marketing for the the pharmaceutical industry. She always found that she really shined the most when planning Client events and watching her Clients and teammates light up as they enjoyed the well thought out activities. In 2015 while expecting the arrival of her new baby girl, she and her friend Amy decided it was time to reevaluate their careers and what truly makes them happy. They set out together to pursue their creative passion and started The Boastful Host. Adrienne generally manages the business side, working directly with clients, setting up venue tours, and managing the logistics. During her free time, she can usually be found at the barn or a horse show, with her husband Paul and two senior dogs, cheering on their daughter Lilly and her ponies.
Amy Macauley
Amy loves sitting at her kitchen table for hours, using glue guns, tissue paper, markers, etc. That is where the magic happens and the ideas flow! After graduating in 2000 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Early Childhood Education, she spent her years following as an elementary school teacher and later in the non-profit world, in childcare. When a creative challenge presented itself, Amy would be the first to volunteer her craftiness, making any situation more beautiful. When she wasn't working, Amy and Adrienne would sit around sipping cocktails imagining what their dream jobs would be. In 2016, in addition to welcoming her first son, she also joined forces with Adrienne to officially pursue her other dream - launching The Boastful Host making it easier for everyone to party! When Amy is not crafting, which is rare, she is always busy with her partner Tom, and their two boys, competing in and spectating at sporting events, traveling, and being surrounded by friends.
